Made of unfinished basswood + of course, more affordable than the originals (Villa Savoye 22x10x12 tall + Guiette House 16x11x21 tall). these were listed as interesting gifts in the new york times a few weeks back + can be found @ mxyplyzyk.com

a nice little dreamy potent japanese anime (in english). GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES. simple artwork and stark imagery. a should-see for those who want to learn about life after WWII in Japan. Not pretty.
