henry darger's "outside artist"

while reading an interview on marcel dzama, i stumbled across the works of chicago artist Henry Darger (whom dzama explains didn't really influence his own sketches/paintings, yet the work is strikingly in parallel). darger's pictures work with biblical imagery and look at illustrations from a child as seen through his myriad of colors.
