bouroullec algue


strolling past centro on sunday; we (the madre + myself) spotted these great algue designed by french brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. they are available at MOMA each modular algue is a plastic "branch" or seaweed looking think that can form wall art, hangings. they are available in white, black, green or red (box of 6 links; $25.00 + box of 50 links $200.00)

I paid 90 Euros for a box of 50 in Brussels. The thieves at the Vitra shop wanted 115 Euro...but still, that is a lot less than the bullshit figure you write here. 200 Dollars? Gimme a break...

i agree; way expensive. perhaps there's a website for the ones you picked up in brussels? i'd love to buy some on the cheaper side. can save the $$ dough i would have spent + fly to brussels....pick up my own.
