What's in Pandora's Box? Robert Aldrich 1955 classic film noir, Kiss Me Deadly is inevitably one of the most stylish (the beginning credits roll backwards), nihilistic, science-fiction film noirs of the past fifty years.

Directors Quentin Tarantino and David Lynch have borrowed (*or paid homage) to various key scenes in which Mickey Spillane's famously cool bachelor, Mike Hammer, tries to rid of the glowing briefcase before the face of nuclear annihilation or (as speculated) the wrath of women. Those briefcase contents, much like that of Pulp Fiction, are widely argued.
