Dig on these MUJI ""utilitarian"" cardboard speakers. I'm uncertain how they sound but if simple looks could kill; they lay flat in a clear plastic pouch and are easily assembled to plug into a portable CD, MP3 Player or IPod. Available at MUJI UK or MoMA.
