my friday obsession with hitchockian imagery continues as illustrated through these dream stills from vertigo--i.e., the stark brownish-red, swirls, cubanist inspired hallucinations and surreal visual effects. some may find it outdated but i think it's an effective and equally paranoid cinematic device.
